Marie, and her family are flexible and great hosts. Explained everything in terms of house rules. The property is very private, and yet a short drive or ride to downtown, and to get to the main routes to Uptown, and long the river. Plenty of space to park vehicles and visitor vehicles too..

Absolutely peaceful and great place to stay at. The house was in a gated compound and includes a spacious front yard, lovely living room and clean bedrooms with AC. We had the pleasure to meet Marie, the owner, who was kind enough and showed us the place when it was available. She was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. We arrived a little early and luckily enough the place was unoccupied so we asked for an early check in (at a reasonable cost) and Marie granted our request. Thank you Marie for letting us stay and celebrate our Christmas holidays at your place!

I felt safe inside the fully fenced and gated property. Public commute is just a few meters away and there’s a nearby convenience store that the locals call “sari-sari.” Marie’s property has everything you need, although some things will be supplied to guests as per request, but they don’t charge you for those requested items. Marie and the caretaker live close to the property, and that allows them to respond to your requests immediately. But, they also make sure that you have full privacy because they don’t show up unnecessarily until you call for them. They’re friendly and accommodating. When I asked if I can hold a dinner party of 15 people, she didn’t hesitate to set up tables and chairs at the beautiful and spacious front lawn. She even dressed up the chairs and covered the tables with cloths. The living room is also very spacious but we chose to have the party outside so that the children can run around freely. It was an entirely beautiful experience at Marie’s place. Thank you!
